#1. Ever notice the white fluffy stuff floating by on a light, breezy spring day? That is how the little monsters propagate. The flowers probably came from a yard or field across town.
#2. All it takes is just a couple of the flowers to take root, and by next year, yeah it looks like a florist run amok in your fields. The process is called naturalizing. Daffys and irises do this too.

They invade the spot for my tomatoes every year. I'd love them except they die too quick.
