Those are some nice looking bikes there. Y'all have fun riding them.  Maybe I can join you one of these days.

Anyone have an idea on where to find a small and cheap used anvil?

I know, an odd request. But still, any ideas are welcome.

I've heard of using a chunk of old rail for an anvil.  I'd check the scrap metal dealer for something that might work.

Craigslist, flea markets.  Accept no substitue for a good american,  german, or swedish made anvil.
And a piece of old rail won't do.

What I want to do is beat broken pieces of a cymbal into guitar picks.

Would an anvil be the best bet for that, you think? And what sort of hammer? I'm just wanting to beat the brass thinner. I'm thinking a Dremel cutting disc and polish wheel for shaping and finishing.

Thoughts?

Or you could just go here, alot cheaper than an anvil.
